I like to eat it warm, but cold is just as good. I also like them as a garnish for meats or roasts, baked in the oven with their skin, and sprinkled with spices, aromatic herbs, and olive oil. A delicious alternative to the classic roasted potatoes.

     Ingredients:

  • 1 kg sweet potatoes,
  • 100 gr. sugar,
  • 1 egg,
  • 3 tablespoons fine cornmeal (cornstarch),
  • 1 orange,
  • 30 gr. peeled walnuts,  
  • 30 gr. raisins without seeds, a pinch of ground cinnamon, pinch of salt,
  • 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Sugar icing and ground cinnamon, to decorate.


     Method
