Rice cooking in ...
a pot
In a large pot, you place 3 cups of
jasmine rice and rinse at least 2-3 times with cold water.
When the water is clean, add water or broth to the rice so that it is at least 2.5 cm above the level.
To measure, you can push your index finger in to see if the water level reaches the second line of the finger.
Add a pinch of salt, heat and place the pan over a high heat.
As soon as the water starts to boil, you lower the heat and cover the pot.
Boil the rice until the water evaporates in the pot and the rice is cooked.
Switch the stove off and wait for 5 to 10 minutes before removing the lid.
For serving the rice, use a fork to soften it a little and serve it warm.
